These were taken by several different people in Emmet and Cheboygan Counties within about a 5 mile area. I thought they were cool - some Piebald, Albino and White deer.

Thanks for sharing!
To even see a piebald or albino is very rare in a life time, but to get pictures is fortunate. Were they taken this past winter? If so looks like a few white bucks will be raoming around. Very cool!!

Thank you for sharing these pictures. Excellent, especially because you got pictures with and without antlers. We started picking out which were the best shots but all are truly beautiful.
Way cool! Nice to see the community putting all their pics together and keeping track of that albino. Any idea how far apart some of the pics of the albino come from? It would be cool to see how far that guy travels.
That's for showing us. :)

wow, awesome pics! lots of albino and piebalds in that area. very cool encoutners!;) :coolgleam
we had a few piebald deer running around in our camp about 5 years ago. one was and 8 pt., 3 pt., and a doe. none, were harvested in our camp...all out of range in bow seaon, with exception of the doe. i could have shot her opening day of rifle season, but elected to pass as i waited for a buck. let me tell ya, my adrenaline was sure runnin' when i seen the last of 8 deer was a piebald. i thought oh yeah, here comes that 8 pt.:D ....but, as hard as i tried, i couldnt grow antlers on her.  ...oh well, still cool to see. we havent seen any of them since. they must have gotten shot on state land or surrounding properties to ours. she had allot of white on her, id say nearly 50%. it would be nice to see em again. surely the gene must still be there, just takes time for it to turn up in a fawn again.

Really cool pics. My brother-in-law shot a 1.5yr old 6pt 85% white 6pt buck in Ohio a few years back. We razzed him for shooting the first buck he saw, but looking at his mount, I now think I would have shot it to. Great pics, thanks again.

First off, great pics and thanks for sharing.
I figure someone has to say it eventually, so I'll just go ahead and get it overwith. Someone needs to shoot the piebald at the first chance he/she gets. From what I've read, they have inferior genetics and are not good to have breeding. I can't remember the details of how/why, but all indications are that they have certain genetic flaws that aren't conducive to a quality herd.
Can anyone elaborate? I've no time to research this morning.

Those are way too cool. I was on our property a few weeks ago and saw a pibald doe. I'm deciding to take her during the season. I wonder if people ever eat the meat from an albino or pibald?

wow those are very cool. i saw a fawn on our property a few 3.5years ago that lookes like it was white ticked and I just thought it hadn't completely lost it's spots. Well I saw him last year all grown up. He was a 6pt very wide rack. Most of the ticking was still there. the best part about him was his face. It's hard to describe. i wish I would have gotten some pictures but he was always too far away for my crappy camera zoom to come out clearly. I hope he made it through the season because he is going to be a spectacula mount if I see him within range.
