We had a tough day of fishing with only a couple of shakers (released) to show for it. Marked a ton of fish, most of them 70+ feet down out around 120'. We headed home when a crew man turned a little green in the gills...

Thanks Rich and Larry, a great start for the year!
Hope I can stay on top for a while anyway!
The dude and Huntingfool were along for the day and did a great job! We found all our fish concentrated in a small area in 120 to 140 fow. They all hit spoons with yellow being the primary color. Ended with 5 kings and 2 coho. Had the ho's for dinner with sweetcorn. Man those are good eatin!
Thanks for going along fellas!

Nice job all. I almost missed it in the pics ... but how does Six always end up with the smallest fishy???
I have to work every weekend there is a West Mich League event:sad: . Looks like by mid summer my weekends schedule will flip around and then hopefully I will be able to make a couple events.
Once again ... nice job.

Sounds like you boys had a good time out there. Six, I think you may have awakened the proverbial sleeping dog. Larry is going to open that can of whup-*** on you next time. :D
Good job on the fish, Rick. http://www.anglersnet.co.uk/forums/style_emoticons/default/1a.gif

Thanks Rich and Larry for running the show, and thanks to Gold Coast for hosting the weigh-in. Congrats to Rick and crew on the dominating performance.
Thanks Jim and Beverly for bringing me along. I had a great time. Maybe next time you set up miles from everyone, right on top of the fish, you'll have a crewman that isn't a small fish magnet:rolleyes:

After two weeks out of town for work, I had to tap out or decide between fishing or a wife!
At the last minute, I got the nod from my wife and decided to head for the tourney in the AM, but by that point my crew had abandoned me.
Funny how it works, ... work so you can pay for fishing and then you can't go fishing cuz you have to work.
Looks like you guys did really well this weekend. I am yet to get into fish, going 0 for 1 in my first two trips out earlier this month. Maybe they're turning on.

The great thing is how bunched up the point standing is. It is still wide open for the next tourney. . . Except for Karl)~: But I know he will fish hard and fair well.
Thanks for the fun day.

Karl kicked a** and took no prisoners after one Muskegon tourney last summer, and I believe got into first place overall with big fish of the year as well that day. You never know whose day it's going to be. Still, you gotta poke a little fun at him, don't you? That's half the fun. :D

Thanks Rich for the report and photos. You are the man and really know how to run these events.
Congrats Rick and Six on being 1-2.
By the way, the kings are showing up here and are fat and sassy. In the past week or two guys have been slaying them and they're big.........upwards of 15 lb. and very chunky, being full of alewives...and the alewives seem to cover 2-3 class years of baitfish so that looks good.

Whit why did you have to tell me that about the fish up there. I want to get up to Frankfort so bad it isn't funny. I like to go up Memorial weekend but don't know for sure yet if I can:sad: .

Ah, I remember it like it was yesterday... :) We all have our lucky days. I must have used my quota last year at Muskegon...
It is hard to stick around when you take a couple of waves over the bow, and have no fish to speak of when everyone on the radio is almost limited out.
