The water has warmed up a bit from last weekend bringing in a few silver fish. We mainly worked 35-45 fow of water from Alaskan Bay past the PA lighthouse to the west. LTs were strung throughout the area with 3 colors of leadcore with Bombers being the hot bait for our limits. We also boated 2 very Kings (8-9lbs) off the riggers. 24-30 down with 125+ leads with Mag Blue and Green Dolphins. Sure was nice to have some drags ripping....Tight Lines Capt. Drew

Nice Andy. Those kings are getting bigger!

Did you see what was in their stomachs?

We actually had a,1,uno,one Alwife so fresh we could of put it on a hook. Along with the one Ally... we had many many smelt/minnows and GOBIES yes GOBIES. :yikes: But we were out in front of HB -vs- Grindstone.

You should walk off the wall at Port austin after dark and shine a spotlight in the water, it is black with big shiners, it really is amazing, somedays you can't see the rocks because of them.

The coho sure seem to like them.

Does that mean that coho's are being taken from the wall in Port Austin?

i got one on friday, but you could see more of them slashing at the minnows. There wasn't any tonight, nothing besides a couple smallies.

Try pitching little mini spoons at those coho's. Spoon like those mini-streaks. Put a split shot in front of them so you can cast them out a little further.

I've popped them coho's up tight to the rocks while trolling those little spoons.

Ben, nope. I aint been out for salmon since our trip. I have been walleye fishing though....
