Port Sanilac, May 6, 2006

Fished out of Sanilac both Sarurday & Sunday......

Saturday, cold, windy from the north, maybe 4 to 6 footers. Started North of the Harbor towards the trailer park, Picked up 1 Lake Trout. Trolled south down to the high banks, worked in 45 to 55 feet of water. Went 5 for 7 total for the day, 3 lakers, 1 coho & a nice 9.5 lb king......

Weather was a little better Sunday...... wind switched from the south..... not as cold, a little better water, people complaining about the chop on the radio.... should have been out yesterday (LOL)...... fishing over my marks from yesterday til 10:00 am...... No Luck.....

Still a great weekend Fishing...............

Prety much the same story as wishtofish.

We did good on Saturday in the nasty stuff and couldn't get anything going on Sunday in the Sun. Saturday we went 10 for 11 with 9 lakers and one coho. We were working about 35 to 45 foot. The riggers were the ticket today.

Sunday we went 1 for 1 with a small king off a full core in about 70 foot.


The switch in wind seemed to really shut them down.

An 18 ftr will work on a decent day. If you know who's out there you could shadow them just to ease the mind. Remember there in close but they won't be there for long.

Had a graduation at Farris on Saturday and got bown off on Sunday. We need some consistant winds to get these fish together. They seem really scattered right now.

Hoping to get out a few nights this week, two big weekend tournys coming up.

Wish2fish and goosebustr79, I spent a lot of money on my honker hanger board, get those slimy, nasty greasers off of there!!

I don't know if any one is catching any thing of the wall. I've seen fishermen on the wall, but I haven't seen any one with fish......
