My truck camper has been in the repair shop for five months. It was great to get it back to do a shake out trip before heading to Florida. Camping World did a beautiful job but they were sloooooooooooow, blaming Lance for not sending parts. We camped in the manistee national Forest near Baldwin over the weekend. We had perfect weather and saw two eagles. The birds were going crazy. Deer were abundant.

I caught some steelhead in almost summer conditions. See them in the fishing reports of my web site.

We were able to get a lot of firewood at a local saw mill so all day saturdurday was spent reading and luxuriating in the sunshine.

Now we know everything works and we can head out to Florida.

Nice looking rig and the area looks wonderful. Good luck on the trip to Fla.

I know how that one goes.
You know what really irks me? I'll have customers I've had waiting for parts for monthes on end. I ask the parts department on an everyday basis for a status report and they give me the famous excuse "it's on back order" or something to that effect. Then after I've complained a hundred times about what is taking so long they finally get the part in only to find out it's incorrect. About that time the customer becomes totally upset with us. He goes on a phone calling binge calling anyone and everyone he can think of to complain. Threatening suits and all that good stuff. Next thing you know the factory not only ships us the correct part, they do it overnight. Leaving us to look like a bunch of incompetents because we couldn't even get the correct part in three monthes.
Glad you got your camper back. It sounds like your a very understanding customer.
