I am picking up my new boat this afternoon and I hoop to be in opperation saturday morning. There has been a change in plans however. I had wanted to keep it in my garage but as the delievery date got closer, my wife became began dropping not so subtile hints that she was not going to be happy with the arrangement. To keep peace in the family, I started looking for someplace to keep it other than the garage and found the River Bend Marina on South River Road, For $350.00 for the rest of the summer, I can keep my boat on the trailer in his yard. The marina is about one mile from the Harley Ensign launch ramp which is an outstanding facility. The yearly fee is $20.00 to launch my boat in clean water right on the lake. If I kept the boat in the garage, I would have to pay the City of GPW $70.00 a year to launch in a sewer. The only thing is that getting to the Detroit River is going to be a problem since it is really too far to go in the boat and the St. Jean ramp has a lot of problems. The St. Clair River is, however, a couple of miles away so I imagine that I will be doing most of my walleye jigging there.

Can anyone give me some suggestions as to locations to try andwhat colors and baits to use. I have never fished the SCR so any help will be appreciated.

Just read the forums, you can get ANY info you need.....As far as the St.clair River is concerned, rather be there than the Detroit river......Much nicer up there!!!!!
