Muskegon 5/3

Fished Muskegon from about 8:30-1:30, went 4-4. Fished between 10 and 65 fow. Dead till about 11:30, then 3 fish in about 15 minutes (14,6,11 lbs) and got the 4th (9lbs) at about 12:15. All came in 40-45 fow trolling with the south wind. 1 on blue dolphin mag with a 1 lb snap weight (80foot lead, 90 to the ball). 3 on mandarin minnow moonshine 90 back on dipsey set on 3. Waves got too big for us so we went in and fished Muskegon Lake for a couple hours and went 6-8 on pike. Only 2 keepers, 26". Most on blue/orange and blue/silver thundersticks.

Thanks for the report! I hope the wind stays the same for this weekend. The east wind we've had for the past two weekends has made for some tough fishing.
