River Rat and I got 2 man limit in 1 hour 8 minutes. 3 drifts of 150+- yards. 6 first drift, 5 second, 1 last drift. White 3/4oz. jighead, grey/silver plastic minnow w/stingers. Kind of makes up for the 10 consecutive skunks I had in January - March. All 17-18 inch 2lbers. I think that we converted 3 fishermen at the dock to the site. They had no idea that there was a website with such a plethora of information like this one. We gave them 4 minnows, showed them our setups, and wrote the website link down for them. We also gave another guy on the river some of the minnows because he and his small son, hadn't caught any. It was a great evening of catching walters. I just thought I should "SHARE" with the group. All of that therapy is paying off after all.

What kind of plastic minnows were you using and where did you buy them? I have been trying to find plastic minnows at Lakeside but they don't seem to have any.

I was using 4" Fin-S S&P Silver Phantom. I bought them at Lakeside. They're right up front at the end of the racks by Wyanodote worms. I was just there today at 5:30 and the had several. Gary(aka I hooked my finger  :woohoo1: River Rat) was using a different minnow. It had more grey coloring in it. Hope this helps.

You can use Zoom Flukes (Bass Pro) or split tail Bass Assassins (Miejers).

I Was Using Zoom Flukes In Smokin Shad. Got Them At Bass Pro Shop. Also We Were Using 3/4 Oz. White Jigs. I Think The Larger Jigs Make The Difference.
