There is a Lexington Torunament May 13th.

I was hoping to get the flier in the mail today. I will get it tomorrow.

Here are the details that I remember, do not shoot the messanger if they are wrong. I will post again when I get the flier.

Entry is $100. Captains Meeting at Cadillac House May 12th. 9 Rod Limit. Must fish Lake Huron, No Canada, North Boundary is Port Sanilac. Weigh 10 fish. Prize for each species (king, coho, laker, brown, steelhead, pink) and I think it pays top 5 starting with $500 for first place.

I would hope they would add the purse of the top 5 if they get more than 20 boats.

Clay has done well getting the one in Port Sanilac set up. He has flyers made up at his shop and he has gathered a ton of cash and prises from local businesses.

The business's are very happy to have a local tournament estaplished and I think it should do well. There were around 25 boats in it the last I heard.

The lil' tanker is fishing it for sure.

Call Clay's bait and tackle in Sanilac for details.

I heard that this Lexington tourny had 27 boats with over 700 pounds of fish caught on Sat.

Any truth to any of this.

I fished the Sailac tourny and there was only 9 boats. It was a two day and there was almost arounf 500 pounds caught.

I heard there was over 1000 pounds caught. I believe 3 boats limited with 10 fish.

There is alot of Bait (probable smelt) south of Lexington over 60 FOW out in the shipping channel. I am going to run down there Thursday and check it out.

The one day shootout was the way to go on mothers day weekend.

I agree.

The 2 day thing was a bad idea especially on Mother's day. I am sure that is one reason there was so few boats.

I have to kiss butt all week now to get back on my wife's good side and get ready for the classic this weekend.
