Does anyone have any camo ideas for my son's 20 GA Browning BPS? I used a camo gun sock with my 11-87, but would a gun sock work with a pump?
Any other ideas?

Don't use tape, you'll never get the glue off. Use the cloth socks.

i used a gun camo kit. this wasnt the tape that comes on a roll, but was used specifically to camo a gun. it had sheets that fit the stock, forearm and breech. its instructions for removal were to use a heat gun or hair dryer. its not supposed to leave anything on a finished gun. i dont know for sure though because i never removed it. im not sure on the name either because i bought it at franks great outdoors in linwood (989)697-5341. it was about 6 or 7 years ago at least. when your done it looks just like a gun that came camoed from the factory.
good luck on whatever you decide.;) :) ......even better luck on your hunt.:D

My son had some of that fancy camo stuff that he got but, it wasn't really tape but it came rolled. It went on fine and came off fine with no residue and no rust under the application. What it was...I dunno for sure but, it worked well for the intended use.
That regular camo tape (that leaves the adhesive) also tends to shine in the sunlight so....what good did it do to apply it?

I have a 12ga. BPS that I had to buy a camo stock for. . . made by Bell and Carlson. A bit on the expensive side, but beats tape or paint. Look in the Cabela's "shooting" catalog.

I use the atv camo tape from cabelas and you can spray it with waterproofer. It comes off and no sticky mess

You could always do it permanently. I have seen these guys work and it's top notch. http://vcfinishes.com/
I am taking them a muzzleloader after I get my truck fixed.
