A friend of mine had his buck shoulder mounted, nothing flashy just a little basket 9 that was his first. My question is the seam on the back of the neck shows real bad, is there any way have that fixed? it looks like total crap, i know you cant see it when its hanging but it bothers this young man, he payed so much for it and was so proud of it to have it come back like that. Any help would be great

Any good taxidemist should be able to repair that. It more or less would take removing the cape and redoing the mount, possibly replacing the cape if it is to small or damaged. Sounds like you buddy had a rookie complete it for him. Bummer.:mad:

Most taxidermist wont touch it after it has been mounted by someone else. Just hang it up and dont use that taxidermist again.
