Hi folks,
Just wondering which is more preffered for vertical jigging. I was baptized to the art of vert. jigging on the det. river this spring with my good friend and member mrybas. He has a stern drive and it worked quite well. we caught many limits of eyes. I want to get an electric trolling motor and wanted to know which is more prefferable for the st.clair river or det. river? Which one does everyone feel is the best to get. I have a 17.5 thompson carrera and a 16ft. older mirrocraft deep fisherman.
Thanks Johnr

I started with a transom mount on my 14'. Switched it over to a bow mount by rotating the head and it worked much better, IMHO. I bought a pedal control bow mount off the site this spring, and absolutely love it. Will never go back.
