going up to grindstone this weekend were not hitting the big water but fishing for smallies, steelies, and browns in and around the harbor. any good reports? does anyone know of anywhere else in the area to do some good shore casting, we've tried eagle bay the last few years but its been dead there. any info is apprieciated

A few nice browns have been caught off the points in the last few weeks. Bass are starting to move in and will only get better thru May. Try down towards the 'New' river by Huron City or below the dunes at the mouth of the Pinnebog for steel....Capt. Drew
