I know I've posted this before, but you might want to check the status of your boat before open water arrives:

I guess I'll leave it here for a little while longer......

Hi Esox, I am new to the site and what a great site it is. I am a member of the Coast Guard Aux. And I am proud that you have refreshed this address for recalls on boats and motors. Just hope that more people will check it out and add it to their favorites list.

Welcome to the site Highlander. Do you do Power Squadron classes?

Thanks for the welcome ESOX,
I am, as I speak/ typing, taking the test for the VSC (vessel safety examiner) for the Coast Guard Aux . I am currently a DNR hunter safety and marine safety instructor, and I am also a Coast Guard Auxillary Boater Safety Instructor which is the same course the Power Squadron offers. I am also involved with the NRA. Anybody needs or desires to take a class can e-mail me. I enjoy teaching the public about outdoor etiquette and safety.
Happy Eaaaaster all (ohoh sorry, lead finger )

In case anyone has a SOSPENDER inflatible flotation device. There is a recall on them and they were sold through West Marina:
