Went Pike fishing this weekend and couldn't find any. Where are they generally this time of year after their spawn.

Depends where you are, if you in SE lower michigan, really in any bay in DR or Lake St.Clar, and i am sure the SCR will produce. At first, they were running BIG, may over 30 inches, now, it is mainly bigger hammer handles, right around borderline keeper size. Right now is probably the best time for numbers, though, the size has tailed off a bit. We fish in the spots in the lower DR river, you can get em all day long if the conditions are right, and, they are FUN to catch, one of my favorites to catch.

Which brings up a good point "Maydar1" and it is that none of us know where you are from since your profile is not complete.
If you are from the SE part of the state some of the regulars have given out several real nice spots to go looking. If you are from another part of the state we need to know and maybe there are lakes in your area that are producing.

I am from Jackson county. I'm not asking for a particular body of water I can catch pike. I was more asking about depth and cover I can find pike right now. In the summer I do well on deep weed lines, dropoffs, or really deep water for big pike, but where are they when the water is sub 60 degrees. Thanks.

I like 7-10' deep flats with weedgrowth. The larger fish seem to hang closer to deep water. Also look at any bays or creek mouths that have had wind blowing into them for a prolonged period of time. Some good sized fish will push shallow to feed when this happens. Good luck!

I marked about 8-0 yesterday on not a promising lake. In about 13-18 feet of water.
