anyone know a good place to catch carp i live in walled lake whats a good place :evil:

Kent lake, turtle head is good for spring carp. There's a club outing there
with contests in the summer months.

Also, the flats in LSC are getting a lot of press for flyfshing for carp.
Traverse City also is getting recognition for flyfishing for carp. The shallow
areas of the bay are supposed to be great for sight fishing.

Croton Pond has some torpedos. They are so big that when they "sneak" up on you while you're fishing... they can actually startle you with their size.

You ask when? Where? How about Battjes Park lake in Wyoming? Took this 20 minutes ago. There were about 20 of these things hanging under an overhaning tree... there were a couple that had to go 15 lbs or better.

Man, why don't they make camera lenses polarized!?!? LOL!! That pic really doesn't do justice to the fish.

:yeahthat: Actually, all along the whole Turtle Head Peninsula is great for carp throughout the year!
