Still haven't gotten my chatterbaits!

I order 2 of them, just 2 back on Feb. 5th. Was told they were back ordered ans should have them by mid March. Well, I sent an email to Backwaters (the company I bought them from) and this is the reply:

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP AND MY UNDERSTANDING THE BAITS ARE BEING PRODUCED IN JAPAN,

I'm about to cancell my order. I ordered some other things too and told them to hold everything till my chatterbaits came in. Not sure I want any of it now.

im waiting from backwaters too, so now they are being made in japan??
well isnt that great news.:rolleyes: i emailed them 5 days ago and still havent recived a response, let me know if you find anything else out.:dizzy:

They look very similar to the chatterbaits, and Bass Pro is pretty reliable.

I know where you can get two.....Lake Barkley in Kentucky!! I fished a tourny there this past weekend and lost two. I threw Senkos, jig n pigs, Brush Hogs and spinnerbaits but they wouldn't hit on many blowdowns until I threw the chatters. Lost them both, one on a 4+ and one on a 5+ and both had the nerve to jump and show them to me hanging from their faces. Lesson learned = ALWAYS retie after landing a large fish!!!!

I went to a fishing store, and they are ordering them for me. I figured that might help get them in quicker.

Fished a couple of days over spring break with them down south and was disappointed in them. They seem to have a pretty low hookup rate. Fish blast them but you only end up hooking 50% or less. Thought maybe they were just short striking that day, but my buddy who has used them for a few months says the same thing.

Just happened to find some at local Gander Mtn. Bought 2 of each size and color.8 total. Associate told me they weren't getting anymore for quite sometime.Shoulda bought them all but wasn't greedy.Hope they produce ......

the first week of february hoping to get them before my trip to
kentucky for the NBAA classic, well i'm leaving saturday, and
just got an email saying it will be 3 more weeks.
i'll buy the ones from bass pro.
