Since mercuy has come through with my rebate after 11 months of *itching at the dealer. Not mercurys fault, thats in another thread. Anyway I want to get a planner board mast for my 2025le and I was wondering if the fine people of the site have any suggestions and I would like to get this to mount in pedistal base. Is this possible?
Thanks,
walleyeman
Yes, they can be made to fit a pedestal base. John Pollman rigged a Willie mast to a spare Atwood seat column so we could move it from boat to boat or just plain remove it. Rather than attempt to explain it, I'll ask him to post a few pictures. His method should work with any seat post, but I would reccomend a solid bar stock mast as opposed to the I beam type.

Hi walleyman,
Here's a pic of the setup I made.

I know it's tough to see how I did it. If you'd like some more info, drop me a line and I'd be happy to help.
I have NO IDEA why the pics won't display here. I guess you'll have to click on the link to view the pics. SORRY :(

Simpler yet! Big Jon makes a mast that fits in a standard pedastal mount.
Look around they are not too hard to find.
P.S. you might find a deal at the Silverdome show if you're going anyway, I don't think I'd pay the admission just to save a few bucks though.

Thanks knockoff I am going to the show but not just for the mast my dad claims to want to buy a new boat for handlining in the river so I'm taking him to look around also.
Thanks again,
walleyeman

I recommend the Big Jon mast. It sells for 199.99.
The seat mount is around 35 bucks

I bought my mast/board setup last summer and paid about $200 for it. This one might go for a litte less. The seller is located in Washington Michigan too.

jpollman,
Thanks for the thought on the mast and boards, went to the pontiac show over the weekend and picked up a mast for just under $200. Thanks again for the post.
