At age 65 a person gets the senior price, lets just say the person turns 65 in July but purchases the license in March. On their 65th birthday would it be legal for that person to return their regular license and get a senior one??? I work in a shop and i know this can be done I was just curious about the legality???

What would be the benefit? I doubt that you would get a pro-rated refund. Jenny would probably not allow it.

Jenny's little computer programs are set up to cheat the public. It can be done, a person could go to Walmart and void out there original license and get a refund turn around and buy the $6.00 dollar license. In all acuality the programs are set up in a way that would allow you to return unfilled tags if you could talk uneducated Walmart vendor into doing it. So the benefit would be that the 65 year old person would get to fish for 6 rather than 15.

Dude, you must be the cheapest person known to man to even think of doing it. I mean even coming up with the idea reaps of cheap *****. If 9$ is that much to this person, he best take up cheaper sport :) . And don't even tell me this guy probably has a $30k truck and a $20k boat that he uses for fishing...lol

Sorry it took so long to reply!!! Here is the deal, a 65 year old person has paid his/her dues for fishing in the state for a great deal more years than I. With gas prices the way they are and all that goes with medicare and stuff more power to them old folks that can get out fishing!!! I think it is only right that they get the discounted rate and 9 dollars is a lot of money to some folks and you're right it is only nine bucks and these people would pay 15 if they had to but they don't and they shouldn't get cheated out of it and that was my point.
