Eye's in Lincoln Lake?? Anyone ever get one?

Fished Lincoln with dtg this weekend. The party store there near the ramp has some pics of some nice eyes supposedly pulled from Lincoln. Has anyone ever targeted them? If so, where on the lake did you have your luck?

Havent tried for eyes yet on Lincoln but we will be starting to on saturday.

Its a deep lake with a lot of sharp drop offs.


I will let you know if we get anything this weekend.

i caught a few pike... imagine that

glugger pulled a nice eye out of there a few years ago he told me.

sure waterfoul....try the north west dropoff areas........south/southwest best for the largemouth.......weedy breakline along east shore(from resort point to north shallows ) are the best for pike............its a great little lake..for as small as it is it offers up pretty consistent gamefish action..........now tell me after mid may u can get eyes out of sessions..that b a trick or some of these waters around here they plant...lol

Didn't they have a million dollar fish planted in lakes around the country? I believe there was a bunch of thousand dollar fish in all but one was a million dollar fish. Lincoln lk. was the one in mich. and some guys caught it and it was a walleye but it was the thousand dollar one?

Hey Waterfoul, I got to milk that perch you left me!!! Just thought you'd like to know. I grabbed it to stick the fillet knife in it's poop shoot and I'll be darned if I didn't accidently milk the SOB. So it is possible!!!!!:lol: :lol:

yes you are correct fishon.....that was the busch/budweiser beer thing they did for a few years......only tagged fish i ever catch have a 'do not touch' sticker on them!:yikes: .....geez and i chased 'crappie tom' all over Houghton lake a few years back!:lol:

That was pretty cool when the tagged fish was caught. Man I stayed away from Lincoln then....It was a mad house. Everybody or so it seemed was out to catch it. Usually during the week Lincoln is pretty quiet, but not then !!
