what do i use to drie the meat up around the tail and beard and feet i heard to use salt

i would not use salt,i would ese borax (20 mule team).

Don't dry the meat - it will rehydrate. Remove all of the meat and the fat. A paring knife is plenty of knife. The fat runs between the quills from the base of the quill to the skin.
Then, borax or salt.

i think i got alot of meat off and can see all the end of the feathers and fat meat between them but how do i know if i got enough i dont want bugs and if it dries out can i just epoxy it while its pined to cardboard then it will dry and and the feathers will stay in place
