i may be taking a trip to caseville soon. i was just wondering if anyone knows of any good public shore fishing areas on the pigeon river or rush lake which are both in that area. i have no desire to fish in lake huron as i don't have a boat. i have never been there and any help would be appreciated.
(also, if anyone live in or visits the area i was wondering if there are any good bars in the area with any live entertainment, pool, etc...)

should be some perch happening right now along the breakwall. Also you could catch a brown or steelhead on your perch rigs, so bring a net. One thing good there is you never know what might bite this time of year. Even a burbot:D Usually a real early bite for the perch in morning. If wind is from NE,E,SE,or S it usually is pretty nice sitting down on rocks no matter how bad the wind is to your back, but it comes from anywhere else, be prepared to stand up on the rail and tuff it out. Usually hard to see bite if wind is much more than 10 mph from any westerly direction or north. Seems like its always stronger there than where the weather man gets his stats from:rolleyes:
