WALLEYEvision

Sorry for the late post.
Fished the Maumee River on 4/13 from Maumee up to Waterville. Most of the anglers were fishing from the US-23 bridge, West toward the rapids near Jerome Road. The fishing pressure at Blue Grass Island/Side Cut Metro Park was moderate, and pretty much non-existant at Orleans Park. Shore anglers at White Street were catching good numbers of White Bass and Channel Cats. The only walleyes I seen were on stringers of two guys leaving the river on the south shore, near Jerome Road. They each had one walleye a piece around 3 - 4 lbs. Seen a couple of White Bass caught in this area as well. I did manage to get my net wet by catching a 25" Carp that bit on a Chartruse twister near Waterville.
Water clarity was 6" - 8".
