I guess it's slow, I haven't really seen a whole lot of people in the surf this spring. I talked to a guy on the Au Sable that said he's been camped in the parking lot the past two weeks and has seen a grand total of 5 fish caught out there. I fished up in the creek, and there wasn't a whole lot, I hooked 4 and landed one and I caught a nice stream brown, my buddy limited out, but he knows it better than I do.

I drove by today around noon. Saw maybe one or two people there. Stopped in numerous times over the past 4 weeks, and it has been dead, no one catching squat.

I stopped by Friday around 2pm. Was told everyone left around 11am. The guy fishing there told me there were a few landed in the morning, but they shut right down early.

I was there i believe 3 weeks back and we got in at 6 and between 6 and 7 there was 2 caught a female and a male, both 8-9 lbers. There was nothing going on later in the day though, seemed all the fish were being caught vveerrry early.
