hey capn dan-

Just wondering how far one would need to venture out to get into some eyes. My boat is pretty small, so I would trailer it to the launch that would allow for the shortes trip to productive waters.

We took 8 nice eyes Thursday night on the Bay in 5 to 7 FOW, between 8:30 and 11:30pm. With the bite being virtually dead before that, we watched as the bigger part of the packs all over the Bay headed in after it started to sprinkle around 8:00pm. #14 Tenessee Shad colored Huskys, short and slow.

Got a gig with Dow Corning (they made me an offer I couldn't refuse) for the better part of next week on the Tittabawassee, but then I'm heading over to Sand Point area where the fish are stacked on top each other. Sorry about the lac of specific particulars about these spots, but we were all alone Thursday Night and this Sand Point Area info was shared with me by a close friend who likes/insists on his/our privacy.
