Trying to get a feel for this event, which started 14 years ago. Trying to see if there is any interest?

Captains meeting June 14. Fish June 15th 6:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Lake St. Clair proper, no rivers or channels. 6 Rods, $100.00 per boat up to 4 peoples, $25.00 per man over 4, up to six. Register before June 14th $100.00, register on the night of the captains meeting, $150.00 for 4 peoples.

No pizza at the Captains meeting, which requires the Captain to attend. 95% payout on the entry fee, 1st/2nd/3rd. Could very well be a little Calcutta action available, which will have a 100% pay-out.

Hot doggies, hamburgers, sausages, etc. at the weigh in for a nominal fee. Bottom line we will pay out 95% of the entry fee to 1st/2nd/3rd/ based on the number of boats that enter. $100.00 for the "hog" Walleye, by length, in case of tie, weight takes the "cheddar".

A CO will attend the weigh in, so if you think you can fish all night and bring in some old tired looking "river fish" and win, you will have a rude awakening.
Could have your "big happy meal" hanging from the yard arm by 4:00 P.M.

Let me know if you want to compete?

Gone Fishing, I will pay Paul to fish with me!:yikes:

Dick, Where is this Tournament going to be held, and how many fish can be entered ??And are you sure you got the dates right ? June 15th is on a Thursday, maybe the captains meeting should be on the 16th Friday and Tournament day be on the 17th Saturday, or maybe a Sunday Tournament day more guy's could enter due to work on sat ?????? If it is on the 16th and 17th I'm in.

Mike, you passed, you are now a member of the top secret investigative society of S.E. Michigan, dates are totally screwed up. Captains meeting is the 16th, fish the 17th, I can't blame this major screw up on this little lap top thingy. Probably has to do with a little "83" and an ancient calendar, or something to do with my failing eye-sight. Any way the flier should be complete by Sunday, with the appropriate dates.

Did not want to go against your Muskie Hunt, changed the date, have a Harsen Island Golf Island on Friday, Captains Meeting on Friday night, Fish Saturday, celebarate Saturday night, Fathers Day Sunday, Brighton Rehabilation Center from Monday through Friday. Embaliming the following Monday, etc., etc.:dizzy: :dizzy: :dizzy:

Anyway let's play:yikes:

Mike: Trying to heal some old wounds, HPYC event, weigh 6 fish, 6 rods, e.tc. Flier will have the rules and reg's, Captains meeting, weigh in , etc., at HPYC, next to the Barge Resturant, S. River Rd.

Don't shoot the messenger, just trying to fix things, 95% payout on entry fees. No pizza, attend the captains meeting, voice you opinion and get into the wind and go fishing on Saturday. Trying to revive something that used to be fun, get some peoples together, have a few laughs, have a few pops and revive some strained relationships.

You know what I am talking about!
