My son and I went out today and got a double limit. First time for me since last June 2nd. Health issues. I know it has been asked a hundred times before but I just got my first digital camera and need some help posting pictures please.

Sorry I didn't post this sooner. My plan was to post it when I figured out how to get the pictures on. Hotwired was kind enough to do that for me. We got all but 2 fish about halfway between Boblo dock and great lakes steel in 38 ft. of water all on plastics last 2 fish came from wyc area.

The limit is 5 on the American side and 6 on the Canadian.
Beagle got them all on the Canadian side.

BUT, I would believe you still have to obey the Michigan Posession limit. Am I wrong?
OK, upon reading the regs.... I guess if you have a canadien license, then you can keep 6 fish. Or am I still wrong?

I don't know about the rest of you but I am getting tired about the daily questioning of posts on whether someone has a legal limit. Thanks Beagle for the update on your great day on the water and for taking the time to share your pics.

I"m just saying.... Michigan law says 5. Canadien law says 6. If you are a US citizen and have 6 fish... caught in canada... are you legal or not? I would think the only one who could truthfully answer this would be a CO

Ok so I hear you. But really are we really going to analyze the ODNR or MDNR regulations in this forum which is supposidely geared to fishing reports. So if the dudes son was less than 18 years old then does his son's catch add up to his daily limit in the US or in Canada?
I just like reading the reports and not questioning the regulations in this forum. Just my 2 cents.

It was a simple question. I'll drop it now since it seems to bother you.

With a Canadian license and caught in Canada you are allowed 6, even if you bring them back to Michigan.
