Trenton 4/13/06 fish water report

Heollo Fellow fun seekers.
Me and two buddies went to Trenton, this morning. Water was cloudy but not bad
We fished in 14 feet of water with a surface tempature reading of 47.

Pick up three marble eyes ,pink, chartrus and white. Two on the stinger one not. Lost a large fish right at the surface. Thanks to my buddy and his excelent neting we were able to box three.

Fishing was very slow. We seemed to think we missed the run. We have been down there for the last three weeks. Any thaughts.

This Saturday we are going to try the north channel, with my kids.:)

I headed out with a buddy about 2:45 this afternoon, fished until 7:00.

We ended up with four eaters (18" to 20") all came on chartreuse jigs with chartreuse tails. None were on the stingers.

We were using the biggest minnows in the bucket, that seemed to be key

you did not miss the run!! move around, don't get stuck on the trenton channel/ candy cane area! there are plenty of places to fish. those aren't always the best.
