Ok League members,
Just thought Id remind you that in three weeks it will be our first tournament to start out the season. There is a couple things that I have to remind you of. Don't forget your spin doctor so you can enter your big fish to see who will win all the spin doctors at the end of the year. The only way you can can enter your big fish to win the spin doctors is, you must bring me one before the tournaments even starts, not after you catch your big fish. The second thing is. Fishing league members,
I forgot to put on the thread of the sign up thread forum that the prizes down below go to the points champ at the end of the year just like last years fishing league.
A 1st place plaque of the State of Michigan from me.
Also two okuma rods reel combo's from the Fish Dog Co.
Also two $25.00 Fish Dog Co. gift certificates from the Great Lakes Fisherman web site.
Thanks,
Caznik

Rich,
With the 6 rod limit, are we allowed to carry extra rods in case a certain presentation is not working? I forgot how this was answered in the past.

Just means you can't have more than 6 in the water fishing at any one time.
Just like you only had two fisherman in the boat (no more)
Any extra people(as far as rods are concerned) in the boat doesn't mean anything.
If you are like me you will have extra rods onboard ready to use for any reason.

Carry as many rods as you like, only 6 in the water though!

I have posted as a "new" user.
The post reads:
Nothing new here other than I have decided that my user ame should be the same as my boat's name.
I have been using Desperado for 2 years now.
I will be using Gadget instead of Desperado.
The Desperado name became confusing last year because people new that name from a charter boat in Grand Haven and figured that I was the same.
Well to make sure that doesn't happen this year I'll make it simple by just changing my user name.
I know that I need to have posts to look like a longtime member (no big deal).
See you on the water in Port Sheldon.

I just found out that I won't be going on a Pennsilvania trout fishing trip this week(copilot's old dog is ailing). If anyone is willing to take me as a crewman for the Sixshooter Shootout, please let me know. I'd hate to miss the fun.
Thanks

Ok Members,
Looks like the weather is going to be great and the wave report is looking good to. I happen to go to Gold Coast yesterday morning to check out the parking for all of us. Well she told me that we could get 20 boats in the parking lot and no way we can get 20 boats in there lot. So when you pay your enetry fee tomarrow morning I will let you know what to do. If we all can do this together it will work. We have to make it work or I just don't know what to do. Well here is your wave report for Sunday.

I took a test run this afternoon out of P.S. Tried to last night, but my 4 & 6 year old decide to play i the boat and drained the battery. The water was great, but did not mark a fish all the way out to 70 FOW. Had to make a quit trip to get back for Prom - Alex II was escorting his sister & friends.
Just an FYI, the fish have not been near Port Sheldon, so you may have to travel in the morning.
Alex
P.S. Dress warm. . . Wind chill on the water was probably in the 30's @ noon. :dizzy:

Thanks for the report Alex,
Gold Coast told me yesterday that the fish are not there at Port Sheldon. So you guys may have to take a run North or south.
