I put the big boat in the lake Tuesday afternoon and I’ve been pumped to get out Perching on my upcoming 4 day weekend. With the rain and 30 mph winds we had, I’ve lost my confidence that I will be able to find those fish on the Canadian side. I bet I would have had pretty much the whole lake to myself. Looks like I might pass on the perchin and go join a few thousand of my fishing buddies on the river. :p See ya down there this weekend! What time do you think St. Jean will be filled up by tomorrow morning. I certainly don’t want to leave my truck outside the gate.:(

Yup, 15' blue and white Smokercraft/30 hp Evinrude and my good luck charm (Jr) sitting next to me. We'll be down there early Friday and start out by looking at the north end on the Canadian side. :)
