usually not until the lake warms up. anywhere from early may to mid may depending on weather.

For that area, a good barometer for when to start checking it out is May 15th. It usually doesn't start hoppin good though until around Memorial weekend. Get it quick though. That area never stays hot for long. 10 days, maybe 2 weeks. Once the water warms up, the weed growth takes off in that 8-12 FOW fast!:dizzy:
