A little off on my prediction. Limit at 9:03 for me.


3 of us got 11 total. After 9:03am I just sat around and ate lunch and controled the boat and relaxed. Nice day out there. Of course I had to do some rubbing in to the other 2.
Caught mine on chartruse and Gulp minnows and then switch to a Gulp worm and same success. Other guys used basically the same setup and tried a few different things. Couple were caught on orange and a couple on real minnows.

Met Steve at the Ecorse launch. Got there as soon as he arrived to open the gates.

Water was 45-46 degrees with about 5ft visibility

Still a good day as far as Im concerned. Will have to stock up on the 'Wyandotte worm'. Thats what the guys were using who were limiting out.
We used minnows and chart. grubs. But if the minnow fell off, so did our hits. Tough to keep the #*@% minnow on.
All good eaters' nothing bigger than 18".

I take part of a 3" plastic worm's (twister type) tail and put it on after the minnow. The minnow stays on then.

WE took 3 man limit on thurs by noon and abig goose egg on fri im blameing the beer thurs nite till 3:00am because my buddies still got there 2 man limit and got 3 man limit sat by 12:30 with late start at 8:30 Them nites after fishing are rough.
