What does "Can't create new file. Aborting script" mean?
I don't have any trouble building the page, but when I try to save it, I get "Can't create new file. Aborting script."
What's wrong?

Steve-
Maybe I'm just confused. Should it be listed under the "featured websites"? Cause I dont see it there, but when I log on, it is in the system....
thx.

No! I only put links to a few of the websites created here under the featured sites section.

Ok, I am now having the same problem. I had the site and wanted to change the photos and add some others. When I select edit index page I can put the photos in, type in my paragraph and preview the page. Everything looks good and I get "Can't create file. Aborting script". What am I doing wrong?
By the way, I just noticed that I am a featured site. I appreciate it. Now if I could only update the site so it would interesting to people to look at.....:(

You guys are going to have to give me a more precise sequence of events that cause this to happen before I can debug this thing.

Steve, I log on and get the first site. I check my index page and then click on edit page. The page comes up and I change the photo and type my paragraph. At the bottom I choose preview page. The page looks good and the new pics are up so I click on save page. Then I get the 'Can't create new file. Abort script.' message.
I'm not sure if it is me or a bug.

Yeap there's a problem there and I've recreated it. I will have to look into it. Here's what I suggest as a work-around. Delete your current home page (usually index.html). Then go in and recreate with desired text on pictures on it. The problem seems to be when you go in and edit a pre-existing page and try to re-save it.

I will try that, THANKS. By the way, you ask for minimal donations on the 'your pictures' page. Where do we send those? It will be a week or two due to the wife's van in the shop for major repairs, but do not want the page to disappear.

Whewwww! It took awhile that way but thank god for copy and paste. Thanks, the site is competed for now.
And disregard the address thing above. I found it. Donation to follow....:)

Is anybody still having this problem? I went in today to try and recreate this again in order to fix it and can't get it to happen.

Steve-
A quick question- What if you had an index of all the sites? I'm not sure if that would take entirely too much work or not, but it would be cool to see everyone's pix/sites!

That would be great, but until I figure out a way to automate it, it's not going to happen. Give me time. ..... But more pressing is anyone still gettting the error that caused the start of this thread?

Sorry Steve, I did the delete and add method without editing so I don't know if it is still doing that. I will let you know when I get a new pic to post.
