smelt dippin ph last night 4-11

not a friggin smelt to be had by me or many people for that matter. was up at 11(hockey game had to be watched and had to make a few fine tweaks to the nets first) we stayed from 11 to 4am... saw two guys w/ 10 or under in their buckets... the rest of the say 30 nets i saw out there where fruitless:( including mine. did get into about 500 good friggin emralds though!... sized for perch and walleye mised in so if ya need em they are at the mouth of the black. my report is for right under the brige, right by pine grove park on the north side of that 'Beached ship" doknow wha its called:confused: and the black river. at the black a guy told me he did better on nights that the water was murkey... idk. imay try it again tonight if the wife lets me. good luck and well see ya out there.

i could have sworn i seen youy walk passed me last night with a rod and a jig in youre hand i guess you didnt look in my bucket i cleaned over 200 right by the river then cleaned another 100 or so just this morning

i sure did, i gave up askin everyone half way down, cuz i got the same answer... and i stoped askin people if they where m-s'ers cuz everyone looked at me like i had two heads. i pmed ya. check it out. its a prop i dont think you can refuse.:lol:

i didnt want to tell ya this but i was a smelt in my last life and i was sent here to collect all my buddies and take them bake to the king lol:dizzy: :lol: ok gotta get back in my special jacket with no sleeves now! neil you walked right passed me when i had 245 in front of me working on cleaning them lol it must have been the camo i was wearing!

Got 9 whole smelt tonight. 8-11:30. Everyone else had the same or fewer. No Eyes to be caught.

Off to Myrtle Beach for a week, Ill give it a go when I return home again.

thats why i bring the little cousin. one year shy of being able to share my labats:lol: and young and low enough on the tottem pole to listen when i say "say here and man the nets while i take a strol and talk w/ random people and toos a few cast's out down the way. next time u see a guy sportin a millitary hat(black) and duck cammo and a studded belt, say hey yo duff! ill look... ask bryan, he did it at lowes yesterday.:lol:
