View Full Version : Cash for your Pet?
Would you trade your pet for a million dollars.
Yes
No
Wanted to do this as a poll but I forgot how. Dosen't matter. 66% of americans said that they would not trade their pet for a million bucks. I find that hard to believe. I think hunters would be more realistic than the average american and say bye to fido.
Let's see!

Not sure where you're headed with this, but I would say that many houndsmen that have grown to love their dogs during their adventures afield would be some of the LEAST likely to trade that relationship for a wad of cash. Of course, there are many breeders that are in it for the money, but there are some man/dog relationships that aren't for sale.
Having said that, there's been a few times in the field when I would have paid somebody to chase my dog down and keep it, but I would have regretted it later. :)

I had a great dog for ten years, he got to old to run rabbits with my young beagles so I let a buddy have him to hunt with. I had turned down numerous offers for the dog through out the years.
Long story short, The dog died soon after words and I have never forgivine myself for not just letting him die in my kennel.
I have finally found one thats close to what he was. I can tell you that one will die with me.
