What did I do wrong?

I scanned a picture and put into JPG. I then went into our picture place and uploaded the picture. They said that I have not given them a graphic file. I gave them a picture. What did I do wrong?

It worked on Hunting-pictures once for me but it did the same there too.

I've had the same thing happen a couple of times. Try copying the image into paint to make it a bitmap, then resave it as a jpeg. It's worked for me.
