Have you guys heard that they won't give you 10% off a case of shells anymore. I was just up there and bought a case of Federal "top gun" trap loads and a case of clearanced field loads. When I got to the checkout the lady told me they quite doing the 10% off cases in January. Kind of B>S is ya asked me....

Bought a case of REMINGTON GUN CLUB target loads at "DICK'S" last week and got 10% off. They are just west of Gander on M-59 in Utica!

Were they still on sale? They gave me the 10% off the sale price a few weeks back. I bought six flats and paid $36 a flat out the door. That is about $1.20 more a flat than the GM Federals.
One thing I will tell you is that I would pay a lot more a flat as long as I don't have to smell those NASTY Federals. They are enough to make me sick.

Dude,

All I know is I won't shoot a remington shotshell EVER after a near DISASTER from a remington load... Allthough it wasn't a trap load it was there Nitro steel, I still can't get myself to even think about a remington load.

Kevlar,
We bought three cases at GM in Taylor, Federal 12g., for $32 each. Then I went to Dunham's and ..........we know what happened there.

GM stopped doing that and went with a straight pricing (with lower everyday prices) strategy.

if you can get 3 dram 1 1.8 oz target loads cheaper than $33.00 a flat... you better tell us all!

with the increase in shot prices, It's not really worth it to me to even reload 12's anymore.

Fed's used to be 3.99 to 4.19 / box - they reduced their prices to $3.29/box.

(and I love the smell of gun powder! :p )

here's a little trick for those that go to DU banquets. if you take part in the state "mega" raffle, keep your ticket stubs. on the back you'll notice a 10% off your next purchase coupon. just keep using those and collect the ones guys just leave on the tables!!

now that $33.00 flat just became less than $30.00 and there's no way you can beat that! (don't talk to me about the $10 off flat at Cabelas for $27- that's a one shot deal- one redemption / household)

I just remembered I have 2 - 10 bucks off a purchase of $50 or more. I picked them up at the Delta Banquet. So if I get 2 cases and use the $10 off That would be 2 cases for $56.

I better shoot the first case before I start thinking about getting 2 more...

Normally Gander will "price match".

Did this last year when buying 3 cases of Kent Faststeel 3 1/2 BB's.

Gander had them for sale for $139.99

I told the guy that the same shells were on sale at Cabelas for $119.99

The salesman tried calling Cabelas but keep getting put on HOLD.

I called on my cell phone and got right thru to the Shell dept at Cabelas.

I confirmed the sale price over the phone and told the Gander salesman.

He sold me all 3 cases for $119.00 each.

That beat driving 2 hours to cabelas.
