I just picked up a Suzuki 4x4 quad that can be rode in just 2 wheel or can be locked up so as all 4 tires turn at once it came with a new plow it is a 93. I have a couple of Hondas that I really like but this quad was 1400.00. I think it is called a king quad.
What is the size of this machine how do I TELL. Also where do I check the oil and where do I put the oil in--can't find--it has a radiator looking device on the front is it water cooled didn't get a book and the previous owner only had it since fall and didn't have a book and he knew less about it than I do.
Are these Suzuki's any good? It starts easy and seems to have plenty of power.
Any help would be appreciated.

if its a king quad its a 300 cc.the oil can be checked in between the right rear tire and the plastic ( just behind the foot peg) theres a sight glass that shows the oil level if i remember right it should be about half way.theres a place to add oil on the right rear by the rear axel. theres also a oil filter that is behinde a cover near the sight glass im tlakinking about.i never had a king quad i had the 250cc which is the same frame but different engine but the engine is set up the same.the king quad up till a few years ago was suzki caddilac and in my opion my 250 was a hell of a machine and when in super low differental loc not much stopped it i think you will like the machine if have have anymore questions just go ahead and e-mail me. enjoy skinne

That King Quad is one of the most durable machines out there.
I had one for years. I bought it new in 95 and sold it with over 1000 miles on it. Never one problem. It's definetly a work horse.
It's a 300cc, but geared to the max. Top end is somewhere around 40-45mph, depending on your weight. We pulled a 4000lb boat with it in Super Low 4X4 lock

Thanks fellas for the info concerning the oil on the king quad.
Do you know where to check the oil in the rear and front differentials. Also it jerks a little going into reverse is this normal should I be holding the brake etc.
It has a new snow plow anyone interested --I can deliver.
