I was just looking at these. Looks like a good cam to find out if game cameras are really something I want to fool around with. Is this worth the $100?

My Dad picked one up for last season. For $100 we were very happy with it. He did upgrade the memory chip to store more photos.

need to purchase a memory card(won't get many pics on high res), and a couple rechargable batteries. I bought the solar charger and it kept the battery full until it got down into the teens at night. W/o the solar charger I wouldn't waste my time w/ it. It likes batteries.

i have a 1.3 moultrie and i love it the battery life is long enough it lasts about a 3 weeks and 2 weeks in the cold it stores 33 photos with the pics on high resolution with the internal memory and i think the picture quality is good i mean sure its not a cuddeback but its a quarter the price and yes i think its well worth the 100$ heres a pic from my moultrie of a doehttp://www.michigan-sportsman.com/photopost/data/3041/medium/ICAM0023-1.JPG

The 1.3 mega pixel is the old camera. The 2.1 Mega pixel is the new model of the same camera. We will have the camera in two weeks. I would recommend that if you want this camera to place your order soon.

If I can be of any further help please let me know.

Thank you,

Do I have to do any mods. to the camera to use a solar charger on my moultrie 1.3 mpx , mine only lasts 4-5 days max with any batteries? And doenst hardly take any pictures and I have 2 of them both do the same, whast the deal?? Watched numerous deer in front of the camera and no pics , I had to walk in front of it about 5ft away back and forth to get it to snap a pic?

Go to http://www.chasingame.com/ (http://www.chasingame.com/) they have a whole section on Moultrie issues, and a real good camera review section, might just change your mind about getting a Moultrie, I think theres better cameras in the $100.00 price range. I have a Moultrie 100 it works fine, but it took 5 cameras before I got one that works. The Moultries also take 2 passes in front of the camera before they take a picture. You will read a lot about these cameras, good and bad, mostly bad, at http://www.chasingame.com/ (http://www.chasingame.com/)
Good Luck
