well, id say its a nubbin, but he should be growing horns for this season soon. it looks like mama in the backround and its sibling stand next to it, from what i gather from the photo.

Shouldn't be a button buck, should be sprouting antlers. Probably last years fawn.

I believe it is a BB. Last seasons buck fawns are button bucks and alot of times will not loose their nubbins until the new growth pushes them off. When was the photo taken?

Time stamp on the photo looks like March 24th. I think I know what you guys are thinking and he could be a button buck from last fall and if so, I don't know if he can still be called a button buck as he should be at the least getting some velvet spikes coming out. Hopefully he'll grow a little more than that though.
