Heading up tonight. Fishing Rifle tonight and Sat AM. Will be in Oscoda Saturday- Monday. It should be on. Will post Tuesday

I was up today, and will be again tommorrow. Sorry to be a downer, but it is far from on. I landed two, and seen VERY few other fish, everybody who had a fish had just that, A FISH. There were only two people at the mouth, though I'm sure the waves crashing over the south pier had something to do with that. We need another good shot of water, the river is running at 38 degrees, just need that draw. Talking to all my buddies up there, they said it's only been decent whenever they've risen the water. The bright spot was a smaller river we fish has an interesting mixed bag going on right now(steelies and LRB's), and it's not the ditch....

The run is definitely not at it's peak. Seen maybe 6 fish all weekend.

i drifted it on sunday, not very good, 1 for 3. mid next week should see some improvement.

Friday night and Sat Am fished Rifle. Anyone wondering if the suckers are in, they are. Lost one nice chromer Sat AM, and landed appx 15-20 hog suckers.

Saturday arrived Oscoda mid afternoon. Fished Dam for a couple hours as I didn't feel like putting the waders back on. Saw one fish caught. Sun AM went out with Scale, fished the mouth from dawn til about 9 AM. Nothing, nada, zip, not even a sniff. Did not see anyone else do anything. Ended at a couple holes up stream of BS, again skunkville, swang by Dam, saw one fish strung up. Everyone we talked to said it was slow, including the guides. Rain Sun PM gave us hope for a push of fish. Went out Monday AM to mouth North side rocks. Miserable conditions, so we thought it would be on. Again, zip. Did see one fish caught. Went home wet, tired and red *****ed, mainly because we probably missed a big push by 24-48 hours. Oh well. Good luck.
