Hi all,
I just aquired a 16' Aluminium Boat with a nice, but old/rusty trailor. (By "aquired," I mean that my father gave it to me and let me haul it out from underneat the brush pile it was in!)
This being said, I am setting about to refinish the boat. I have done my research as best I could as far as what strippers, primers, paints, etc to use to refinish both the boat and trailor.
What I'd like to ask is if there is a good site for information on a subject like this? I was able to find little bits of information here and there, but it seemed like there were MANY more questions than anwsers?
Also, I'm thinking of documenting the process as I go. Putting together a "guide" of sorts with lots of pictures and the products I used.
Would there be any intrest in this type of thing?
I do a lot with cars and there is a website-walkthrough of almost every single thing you could do to a car, but very little of these types of things for boats.
Thanks for any intrest/input in advance. I figured I'd ask around before I did too much!
