I know nothing about ATV's, however, I am thinking about a new garden tractor this summer and I am wondering if one of these ATVs will mow the grass and plow snow and still provide me with transportation on the trails. Also, can you ride these anywhere there is a trail ? Are they noisy in a 4 stroke? What about web site addresses where I get more info. Thanks!

to answer your question yes you can mow the lawn and work up the garden with them if you want to pay the price for the equipment to due so.the plows and disc to work up ground aint cheap nor is the mower to due all of that it would be chaeper to get a lawn tractor.as far as trail riding goes its only on designated trails only unless on private ground.i personally have a 2002 suzuki vinson 500 4x4 i shopped around and went with that 1 because of the price and because i had a suzuki in the past and loved it heres a few web sites to check out. www.polarisindustries.com and www.suzuki.com.hope i helped alittle and good luck in your search i dont honestly think there is a bad machine anymore so its just a matter of personal choice.

I have a Polaris 500 HO Sportsman and had thought about using it for mowing, until I used it to pull the trailer into the backyard for storage. To keep this short, tight turns are difficult and the tires tear the "H" out of the yard.

I was going to use mine to mow..... until I saw what those pull-behind mowers cost.

I bought a regular riding mower instead; it cost the same and it does a better job (turning, etc.)
