Fished the canal between Lakeville and Circle Streets out at Metro on Sat and Sun. Tried mousies, wigglers, wax worms, and minnows. Not even a bite. Even tried to entice the fish with some chum. No go. No fish. Ice conditions appeared to be right around 5 inches. Going to try in the evenings this week.

Just got back from Metro boat basin. Alot of people out there today. Lot was filled. Fished out from the boat docks with no luck. Guys where catching a few small ones close to the docks 5 or 6" perch. Didn,t see anyone catch any jumbos. Open water between the boat launch and the island. Ice by the docks was about 4 to 5 ". Seems they where biting close to shore by the docks. Back basin was the same, small ones.

Fished the front boat basin at Metro from daybreak till 11:00am. SLOOOWW! Kept one 9" in the dozen I caught. Minnows and waxworms worked only got one on the bead.
