All right guys this is the time to step up and show what the power of this site can do.
With the large membership this site has I'm sure we can find somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody ... who found these lures.
I know Paul personally and can tell you he would do anything for anybody if asked.
Let's step up and get his stuff back in his hands.

Sorry to hear about that Paul !! I was just at Johns today...he said you were there last night and were going to fish trenton....Hopefully retracing your path will turn up something.....If the worst happens and nothing is found...I know you have a tournement coming soon....I think between gary, curt and myself...we can load you up with a good arsenal!! Good luck and hopefully...a honest person will turn your lures in somewhere or your lures will be returned or found!! Let me know if there is anything I can do!!

Are you sure they "flew" out of the boat during the ride ? Make any gas/food/drink stops along the way ? 150 Raps in a box had to weight, what, 7 lbs. or so ? Depending upon container, kinda tough to blow out of a boat. Just a thought. Sorry for the loss and I reallly hope you get them back !!! :fish2:

maybe they accidently left it on a casting platform... but yeah, i doubt it would blow out or fall out if it was on the floor. either way, thats a pretty big loss and i hope you guys get your lures back.

If that many Raps' blew out of the boat I would guess the box would have had to break open when it hit the road at 70 mph or was hit by another car? If that happened, I would think there would be a few flat tires in the area since the hooks on those things are nasty little buggers. If there were no flats and no debris along the route I would guess someone helped themselves to it during a pit stop.

Sorry about the loss but good luck, you never know it just may show up anyway.

As many have mentioned it is a top priority to retrace your route.

And, yes, a box could fly out of the boat. The trailer hits the right bump and bounces just right and the box becomes air born. A guy at work lost a tool box, approx 20 lbs, out of the back end of the truck while going over a set of railroad tracks at 50 mph.

But, for the tool box, or the tackle box in question, to survive the impact with the road, well, that is asking a lot.

Bummer I hope you get them back. As stated before if you go back looking you might look for debris instead of the whole box. good luck

I know its kinda late for this. I use a black marker and put my name/adders and phone number on my boxes. 50 % of the time the people will just keep it, 50 % of the time A good person like you and I Can't justify it. Like "Well no name- can't find the owner guess it's mine". If it has Info. on the box, anyone I hang with would return it. PS: I'd give them a pick of 5 to 10 custom paint raps and a 20 spot.;) I got a Ice fishing box returned to me while left/fishing on Selfridge air base. Just an I Idea for the future.

Great idea. I use those little stickers with my address for things that I don't want to lose. I have them on my hand held GPS's and mapping chips for the GPS. And on alot of wrenches and tools. Now I will be putting them on my tackle boxes too. Assuming they stick?
