Still working on the boat, putting a new floor board in and Consol. Gunna be sweet, so look out.......Still a couple weeks out, till it gets reeeeeeal good down there. Spent my time this weekend in Higgins lake slaying Smelt, got 120 on Friday night on the Sabaki Rig, that thing really works by the way

It's been ten or fifteen years since I last fished Alter and St. Jean, hows the security/safety at these launces? Does anyone mess with your truck or trailer while you're fishing? Does St. Jean still have a DNR attendant all night?

Yeah, Sh!& still happens, but very rare.....I launch out of Alter, just because and never had a problem in 20 years. Some stuff happened to some members last year, but that was after dark, when the crack heads come out......

The problem is that the night time is the right time when it comes to pulling wire in the late spring! Many limits have come between the hours of 11:30 p.m. and 2 a.m.

Spent many a night out there only to get home at 3:30 in time to have a quick nap before going to work.
BTW, is this the same Batman I bought that small utility trailer from?
