Normally I don't like tailgate photos (for deer, turkey) but that is such a gorgeously arranged display of bunnies that I think Martha Stewart had a hand in it.
I also can't help but be a bit envious because 9 was the total harvest of my buds and I after roughly 100 man-hours of hunting this season here in Ingham County with dogs. I remember taking more than 50 by myself with one dog back in the late 80s in the same areas I hunt now. What the heck happened?
Congrats on a nice photo after a great hunt.

thanks dangler.....i always keep a disposable camera with me to take pictures of all of our hunts..... so i have lots and lots of photos...... believe it or not we probably took at least 40 bunnies this year from this one 40 acre spot.. without dogs..... and thats not counting the other people that have permission to hunt it........ but we are always looking for someone with dogs to loan us a hand....... in the process of workin out a deal with gobblerman right now, since this is the last weekend of bunny season!!! even though im only 21 ive noticed a fall lately in the number of bunnies, but ive noticed that more and more people are starting to manage there land for bunnies along with there deer!!!!

Yeah we got it hard enough just trying to go hunting. Gizzy's at Ferris, Phens at Central, and I'm at Western. Not real dog friendly when your living in apartments.

Great pictures everyone, I'm a little jealous me and the beagle have only been able to take 1 bunnie all season. It's been a tough year for us. Might go out Saturday for one last hurrah, we'll see what the weather is like.
