I got her chronographed at 290 consistently..... but ive only shot her three different times, so i still have some bugs to work out........ the draw is 30.5 inches.. and the axle to axle is 33 inches.... let me know what you think

Is it just me or do those cams look out of time? Other than that it looks like you got yourself a winner!! Great pics!!

I agree...it looks like the upper cam is rolling over further then the lower. You might want to get it checked out.

Phens...take a close look at the cable that attaches your Drop Zone. It's really tugging on the cables and that's what's throwing that cam out a bit.

That Tryk is a sweet machine man. Enjoy it and congrats.

Wow...nice looking bow. But your top cam is nearly 3/8" of an inch over drawn, and it's because that drop cable is really putting some torque on the control cable (the one with the split yoke at top). Actually buy moving it up you'd be putting more on because of the direction of pull, I know it seems kind of opposite but you'd be better to keep it where it is, and to just put on a longer string and move it down a couple of inches. That will in turn also increase the speed with which the rest will fall as the cables start moving up before they start moving forward.

But if you look at the top idler(it's a idler pulley...not a cam), then you'll see a nice long flat edge that the power cable runs down when at full draw, You want the cable to come of of that flat edge in a nice straight line from the top break all the way down to the cam on the bottome, but you can see that the cam is over rotated because the it comes and rolls back off of that straight edge.

You might also be able to take care of it buy adjusting the straw stop peg into the 65% letoff hole.

I can see you've got your wrist to high...lower that thing down and get the grip running along the whole lifeline of your hand...this is a more solid and consistant shooting platform, as you eliminate a pivot point in your wrist by actually putting the grunt of the holding weight against your lower palm.

Rotate your elbow out a little and use your palm to push the bow towards the target and get your fingers out the front of the grip and let the sling do its job...that bow has no forward jump so you don't need to help it.

I have a laptop...I so did...and I find it very funny that you mentioned that:).

I then found that effort futile, and saved the pic and just rotated it in paint.

Hookdaddy = believe it or not i had the new mathews XT before this trykon and it just wasnt for me.... i took about 6 weeks shooting every bow that i was interested in, and finally ended up with the trykon......
