Just thought id let ya'll know. I went to Gander Mountain yesterday and they are having a sale on some of their st. croix rods, there pretty well picked through but I was able to find a 7'6" IM8 graphite ML fast action one piece pole for $65.
Seems like a lot but when the rod was originally $100 i consider that a good deal especially for a st. croix

thats my favroite rod for soft jerk baits jigs i like the m/l action sometimes with a med. to heavy . rod the bite with a slack line is a bit much with the new no stretch lines . and i think they bang the swim baits harder than a grub or worm were i like to use a m/h rod. but the st croix is nice for the feel of a lite bite. it puts you rite in the drivers seat of the jig.
