Thursday night outdoor lineup

What happened to the Thursday night shows on PBS? This is the second week, I believe that the normal lineup hasn't been on. Did PBS drop the shows due to funding, antis or some other reason? Their not on Saturdays either. BTW, PBS on Dish Network.

WFUM The U of M Flint station usually has great lakes outdoors on at 8:00pm and Michigan outdoors at 9:00pm. Channel 24 in Deeetroit area cable. But for some reason not every single thursday. Try the Yahoo tv listings they work pretty good.

Can you say "Pledge Drive?"

They don't have advertisers so they have to push for public donations a few time a year. They usually show special programing during these pledge periods.

MUCC's MOOD Big Buck Night should be on in the next few weeks.

The last time I watched was a couple weeks ago.Michigan-outdoors did mention it would be three weeks before they would be on the air again. So I think it will be next Thursday. I will be checking tonight to see if its on.I have a 3 year old that askes everyday if we can watch it. You got love that.The boy already has the taste. Just earlier today we were watching some deer hunting videos, he gets a kick out of it.Plus I'd rather watch hunting over "Sponge Bob" anyday!

Funny how they say they don't have advertisers but I find myself sitting through ads for Kubota and The Country Smokehouse for 5m before and after the show. Basketball is on now so I won't miss 'em but I sure did want to see MOOD last week.

I was channel surfing earlier and noticed it is on Sunday morning @ 5:00 a.m. PBS channel 35 in Muskegon area. DirecTV anyway.

Michigan Out-Of-Doors returns this Thurs. night at 7:00 with big buck night. The only reason I know this is one of my c0-workers is on it. He got the fourth biggest in the state in Lenawee county with his bow. It was a 6 year old 13 point that dressed out at 246.

I do miss ol' Fred though. I used to love that show when I was a kid. COuldn't wait to go to the outdoor weekend at Houghton Lake, see all the shooting events ,etc. Moving down here to Ohio has sucked. There are now Ohio outdoor shows to speak of. You don't realize how good you have it, even if you can't stand the hosts.

M.O.O.D thursday was riipping me apart. Big buck night with the little 13 year old girl shooting a monster buck with a bow (40lb draw) Heck the kid only weighed 60.
They are doing this on purpose to drive everyone nuts :dizzy:

I need to go fishing instead. Good thing her dad helped I thought they were about to say she dragged it back by herself. :lol:
